July 20-21 - Setting Your Intentions to Manifest!
New Moons are always a signal for new beginnings, and this is especially true for the New Moon in the sign of Cancer (July 20) – representing birth, nurturing, family, traditions, and our emotions.
No matter what your Sun Sign, this New Moon in Cancer is an excellent time to set your intentions of what you want to manifest in the next six months. For many people, there is a strong desire to get a new home or make the current one more comfortable and welcoming for ourselves and others.
There is also a strong urge to transform careers to serve one’s personal wants and needs (first), followed by serving the “good of the whole” as a close secondary goal. The two goals go hand-in-hand as never before as we realize the value and ease in achieving both!
It’s a magical time during any New Moon, and this New Moon in Cancer is as “good as it gets” for those who want to feel more love and compassion for their self and others, and connect on deeper levels of the soul that have been quietly waiting for you to be open and asking for Re-union.
I strongly recommend you set an alarm to coincide with the New Moon in Cancer (hitting Monday, July 20 at 10:32 am Pacific Time) to do some type of “ritual” to firmly establish your intention(s). The “ritual” can be as simple as turning off your electronic devices and taking a minute to say an affirmation mentally or verbally of what you want to set as your New Moon Intention. The ritual can also be more elaborate and symbolic, like lighting one or more candles, incense, playing music and writing down your “wish”. It does not really matter! Still, by writing down your intentions you add another energy to “excite and attract the cosmic energies” to set your intentions into motion and manifest.
By all means – set a date to review what your New Moon in Cancer intentions – say (no more than) six months from now – and you will be amazed how much will have materialized, and how much of it seemed to happen “on its own accord”!
