Dec. 14-21, 2020 - Is This The "Shift" We've Hoped For?

Patricia Rogers, Astrology Horoscope Queen • Dec 13, 2020

New Moon, Solar Eclipse, Winter Solstice and Meteor Showers!

The Astrological Community is “a buzz” with the major planetary changes taking place during the holiday season -bringing influences on global and personal levels!

Dec. 14-21 is a particularly “epic” week with a New Moon and Solar Eclipse (Dec. 14), Winter Solstice on Dec. 21 and massive planets Jupiter and Saturn moving into Aquarius and exactly “conjunct” each other (also Dec. 21)!

It can sound ominous, but more than likely it is the “shift” we’ve been waiting and hoping for in most of 2020! Just in time for the New Year!

Meteor showers are most prominent for the year on Dec. 13-14, as if to say “let’s get this party started”!

Many people are feeling it is time to blossom and have developed new values and strengthened their “moral compass” in 2020 to incorporate into daily living. We have learned more about our self than we otherwise would have, and become more patient and intentional along the way.

Carpe Diem applies here as timing for new beginnings for you to “seize the day” hits hard the week of Dec. 14-21 – especially with innovative ideas that offer you more personal freedom and pursuit of reconnecting with passions that reflect more of your “true self”!

Year-End 2020 Forecasts - The following forecasts apply to your Sun, Moon and Ascendant signs in your natal astrology chart. If you want to get a copy of your natal chart with interpretations, click here for more info.

Aries (March 20 – April 20)  You are done fighting battles that get you no where and decide to set new goals to rekindle old passions you let go for one reason or another. People will be more open to your ideas when you have them organized on paper, which also helps you see necessary steps needed to make dreams reality and avoid getting ahead of yourself. Above all, you want more freedom, and more than likely you need to let go of old bad habits - like playing serious matters so "loosey-goosey". Time to be more clear in what you how you present your ideas.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20) Watch the tendency to rely more on others than you do your own resources, including skills and opportunities that you take for granted, or pass off as having no real value. This is a time to show initiative, and even a small start will bring results that surprise even you! This is no time to rest on laurels or feel entitled. Gratitude goes a long way – especially if you begin to return favors that acknowledge how you have benefited from other people in your life.

Gemini (May 20 – June 20) This time of year often leaves you feeling overwhelmed and irritable as you get spread thin and overextend yourself with unnecessary obligations. No doubt 2020 has helped slow your normal pace and given you more time to reflect on how your time can be better spent to bring quality over quantity and a new sense of satisfaction and serenity that often escapes you. You have been on a massive learning curve since summer, and now is a great time to establish next steps to continue to educate yourself to bring about dramatic life changes!

Cancer (June 20 – July 22) 2020 has been especially difficult for sensitive Cancer signs who are concerned about the challenges for family and those you consider family. You have decided that worrying doesn’t change things and now want to take action to make a difference! As you carve out a new place in the world for you to operate, you know it helps you in return by giving you a new sense of self-worth, pride and a legacy to leave behind. Above all, you want to make life fulfilling again!

Leo (July 22 – August 22) There a new spring in your step and song in your heart and it always looks good on Leo! Now is when you want to spread the cheer you feel and do it in a creative way! You have new self-confidence and see obstacles that held you back before in new light and not be afraid to experience setbacks or rejection. More than likely, you were looking at the process instead of the end result when you previously set goals to make changes. Now you see the two go hand in hand and often one-in-the-same.

Virgo (August 22- September 22) You want guarantees before you make plans and its frustrating when you must go more on faith than facts – like now. Do you dare get your hopes up and go out on a limb (you ask yourself)? No one said to throw caution to the wind as you begin to hope and dream, and you can keep practicality in your plans as you speculate on future opportunities. More than likely, you need to drop old obligations that drain your time and resources. and it might help to explore why you feel guilty without carrying so much baggage!

Libra (September 22 – October 22) Everyone makes bad choices, and often they become valuable learning experiences that help you to grow. Now is when your Libra tendency to hesitate in making choices intensifies and threaten to keep you from moving forward and potentially go backward! Is your fear of failure greater than your fear of success (or visa versa)? This is no time to bury your head in the sand and play the waiting game and avoid responsibility to yourself. This is an excellent time to set your intentions and take action (even if a small start) and see how the chips fall quickly into place.

Scorpio (October 22 – November 20) You are making big moves now to get what you want and it is “personal” in terms of going against the odds and other people’s wishes for you to win (or lose). The old phrase “desperate times call for desperate measures” applies here, and you have more to lose as a result. Ultimatums, threats, and final offers don’t always work, especially when negotiations are available to make outcomes a win-win for all. You can play to win, but it works best if it is not based on “winner take all”.

Sagittarius (November 20 – December 20) You love this time of year and feel positive for the first time in a long time that clouds are parting from skies overhead. It is true that you are at the beginning o a new cycle of making dramatic changes, after so much hard work that has made Sagittarians more mature, disciplined and resourceful! You are entering a new sense of freedom that still has demands on your time and routines, but at least you will be doing more of what is meaningful to you. The more organized and concrete your plans, the more you attract opportunity that make them happen!

Capricorn (December 20 – January 19) If ever there was a time to make hay while the sun shines – it’s this week! You are always more organized than most, and often do the planning for others so you make your own plans happen, too! Set your sights high for the 2021 New Year and start making the necessary contacts as soon as possible! This is a time where you make your own luck, and this is especially true if you are embarking on new ideas that seem somewhat farfetched and into uncharted territory.

Aquarius (January 19 – February 18) Despite doubts in the back of your mind, you move forward with new plans and say it’s “now or never”! You are showing more of who you truly are and putting more than your time, talents, and resources on the line to go beyond previous limitations. Your image and reputation is being redefined with your new bold moves and you risk rejection by some, which often concerned you before. Your biggest critic is yourself, as you question if you are ready. By jumping in now, you are better able to make necessary adjustments along the way!

Pisces (February 18 – March 19) You are spreading your wings now and facing fears that have held you back before! You are recognizing you deserve to be happy and prosperous and are recognizing where you cut yourself short in the past. Perhaps there were seemingly noble reasons, but who thanked you for your sacrifices? As you drop any resentments for “doing without” so you help others, you realize you can do more to make a difference (for people) by making a difference for yourself. Funny how that works!
